DirtRoadTrip is heading up for the second annual Vermont Overland Trophy, by the time you read this we will be on the road headed North.
Ben and I are both veterans of the first Vermont Overland Trophy, and
hated our lives climbing Mt. Vollers had a blast completing (er, attempting) the challenge. This year DirtRoadTrip providing media coverage for the Trophy, and you’ll be able to find daily coverage of the event right here courtesy of Alex and Tony (Ben couldn’t make the trip, as he and Becca leave for Colorado/Moab next weekend).
Alex and Tony will be covering the VOT with Tony’s FJ Cruiser playing the “media taxi” role. In preparation for covering the VOT, we made some much needed upgrades to Tony’s FJ. The work included installing a new DieHard Platinum Group 31M battery, ARB On-Board Air, a 50″ light bar, and some other goodies.
48 hours before VOT… crap
So grab a cold beer and drop in every evening this week to check out the
carnage recap of the days events. One last thing, if I’m late with an update it’s probably because I’m pigging out on maple creeme’s, not because I can’t find WiFi;)
