It’s Christmas morning and you’ve woken up, only to realize you’re that guy that completely forgot to buy any presents for all of your off-road buddies. Don’t worry though, because we’ve got your back, so throw on a terrible sweater, have a shot of bourbon, and get ready to thank us for saving Christmas.
Here are 5 last minute Christmas presents for each of your off-road friends!
The Jeep Owner
This person is the easiest to please, just buy them something that says Jeep on it. It can be a koozie, t-shirt, or a speedo, just be aware they will use/wear that crap all the time.
The Land Rover Owner
Chances are your Land Rover buddy didn’t make it to your Christmas party because he broke down on the side of the road somewhere. Make sure that never happens again by getting them a AAA membership! 24/7 roadside assistance, gas delivery, and tows to your closest shop, everything a Land Rover owner needs wants.
The Toyota Owner
Toyota people can be tough, their trucks never break down so they don’t need tools, but they love to look like one! So get that Toyota owner in your life some swag that has TRD all over it or a light bar, either one will get the job done.
The “Overlander”
For this guy, you’re going to have to think outside the box, because chances are if you’ve thought of it, they own it. From SnowPeak cutlery to the finest mahogony armorie, if you can name it, you can find it in their truck. So the best thing to get them is a gift card to a hotel, because let’s be honest, they just want to show off our gear, not actually use it.
The Guy That Never Shows Up
Get him a subscription to the Overland Journal, because while he may never be able to come on a trip with you, at least he can imagine he’s piloting his rig down the trail while sitting on his porcelain throne. Fact, 89% of the copies of Overland Journal can be found in a bathroom.
I hope all of you enjoyed our Christmas present ideas, if you have a better one, we’d love to hear about it.
From all of us here at DirtRoadTrip, we hope you have a Merry Christmas!
