The DirtRoadTrip 2016 Winter Camp out is fast approaching, here’s everything you need to know in order to find us.

Saturday, February 6 – Sunday February 7, 2016

We’ll be setup by 11:00 AM and we’ll just be hanging out for the day
Where:
The coordinates above are for the entrance to our camp site, it’s a well worn 2 track and you can’t miss it. Check out the link to get a good idea of where it is, we’ll be in the clearing just off the main road.
Please be aware, this location may change depending on the weather. If there’s a lot of snow or ice on the ground, we will divert to a secondary location. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for any updates.
Directions:
Really Bro? As much as I want to leave it at that, last time we had some issues with getting to the camp site. Be aware that there is no access from 33, the Dictum Ridge Trail is closed and Second Mountain is a seasonal road with a gate. Your best bet for access is to utilize Long Run Road off of Peake Mountain Road.
What You Need:
Whatever you normally take camping, if this means packing your sectional couch and loading your hot tub on the trailer, by all means do whatever makes you comfortable.
Be aware that the temperatures are expected to be in the 30’s during the day and in the low 20’s during the evening. What does this mean? Don’t be that guy that shows up without a winter coat and has to sleep in his running truck all night long.
Really this is not an official event by any means, so remember you accept all liability for yourself (more details here). This includes but is not limited to shenanigans, Sasquatch, and stupidity. Also remember to pack out ALL of your trash, and leave no trace!
