Just look for these guys

What You Need:

Whatever you normally take camping, if this means packing your sectional couch and loading your hot tub on the trailer, by all means do whatever makes you comfortable. We’ll have a grill fired up with hot dogs and we always have cold adult drinks (you can have both if you show us the secret hand shake or make your best Scott Brady impression).

Really this is not an official event by any means, so remember you accept all liability for yourself (more details here). This includes but is not limited to shenanigans, Sasquatch, and stupidity.  Also remember to pack out ALL of your trash, and leave no trace!

We’re looking forward to seeing all of you, drive safe and we’ll see you in the woods.

There are some trails close to there right? Flagpole looks like two hours from the coordinates and that’s a bit too far. Anybody planning on wheelin?

Absolutely. There are more trails a stones throw away – Dictum Ridge, 2nd Mountain, VEPCO – than just about any other other part of the GWNF. The location is only about 6 miles from Flagpole as the crow flys as well.

      Charlie,

Ben and I might hit the trails, but we’re planning on spending time around the campfire hanging out and talking to everyone who can make the drive in. As Dave said, there are plenty of trails in the immediate area, and there is more than enough to keep you guys entertained. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
