MAOF 2015 – Scavenger Hunt

What’s MAOF? It’s the Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival, but since I’m just tired of having to type it repeatedly I’m going to abbreviate it going forward (MAOF). How to do you pronounce MAOF? If you sound it out, it’s like saying mouth but with an “f” sound instead of the “th”. But I digress, let’s get back to what you really care about.

SCAVENGER HUNT!

Yes you read that correctly , DirtRoadTrip will be hosting the most awesome/best/MURICA scavenger hunt in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania world! Friday morning when you come by camp DRT, we’ll have a detailed mission for you to complete. Once you’ve completed all of your objectives, come back to us with the required photographic proof and you’ll get a prize, AKA FREE STUFF!

FREE STUFF?!!?! PRIZES?!?!?! You know it! Not getting anything at the end of a scavenger hunt is like going to Vermont and not getting a Maple Creemee or warming up for an Major League Baseball game and not taking some steroids. We’ll have a bunch of prizes for you to choose from, we originally thought about just giving you a autographed photo of our team but we’re not narcissists looking to give you future family heirlooms.

So in case you didn’t pay attention, or had already forgot everything you read because you were dying of laughter, here are the rules/details you need to know.

• The scavenger hunt will be available starting at 8 AM Friday morning. Don’t come by earlier unless you’re showing up with coffee and/or doughnuts.
• Objectives will be scattered all over the area including the farm, Bald Eagle State Forest, and some other local areas (i.e. you’ll have to drive).
• There are limited prizes so don’t spend too much time working on your broken down Land Rover wandering around.
• All objectives will be family friendly.
• The scavenger hunt will end Saturday evening at 8:00 PM or until we run out of prizes.
